Hello Paul,

compost worms are feeding in many types of manures and decomposing organic materials or creatures. taking into account that the worms are often thriving when being fed horse manure or even dog poop it is pretty safe to say that they can safely consume many kinds of pathogens.

Once the worms have consumed all their feed, they slowly convert it all into dark and nutrient-rich worm castings, a treat for many different kinds of plants.
